New personal website launched!

It had been on my mind for a long time to re-design my website so that I can better represent myself on the web. Keeping this in my mind, I had set one of my goals for 2021 to re-design my website. Before designing my website, I had spent some time on paper and pen thinking about how my website would look. However, I was not able to finalize one design.

At last, I decided to start re-designing my website and follow the iterative development approach. This meant that I would write the initial version of the site and then keep on updating it periodically. Hence, I made a basic design on paper and then started coding during my personal time. When it came to the technology stack, I wanted to keep it simple. Hence, I chose reactJS along with bootstrap. The logic behind choosing ReactJS was to keep my website ready for future developments.

It took few days of efforts and finally in May 2021, I developed the intial version of my website and deployed it. Once, I deployed my website, I had instant gratification. I had a proper personal website after years! However, as I am following an iterative approach, I will be updating my website periodically and in future would make some design changes as well.

What is more important is to start something and sustain it. I am happy that at last I gave time to develop my personal website and made it live.

TechPost is live!

Today, I made TechPost live. The idea of TechPost was formed 3 months back when I was sitting with my friend in a pizza shop and discussing the concepts of blockchain. During the discussion we came up with an idea of writting individual technical articles. My friend acted upon the idea almost immediately. He registered his domain and started writing articles while I got stuck with my Job and M.Tech. Last week I wrote my M.Tech exams and after that I started working on this idea.

I always love Computer Science and in my B.Tech days I had a passion for the subject. However, as I entered into the job nmarket, I lost my focus. 3 years back I joined Adobe as a Senior Consultant – AEM and have been brushing my mind since then. Last year, I got passionate again about technology and started my jouney by doing a MongoDB certification and then also joined M.Tech from BITS Pilani along with my job. During my study of M.Tech, I ignited my passion and started talking about these subjects again. I met few good people who are now my good friends and the conversaion we used to had sparked the flame in me again.

TechPost is the reflection of the love I have for Computer Science. I sincerely believe that we solve great problems using computers and can solve the problems of the future as well. Computer Science helps us in that.

TechPost will cover a variety of topics related to computer science and some hot topics as well. I would be adding atleast one article per week to TechPost. You can visit TechPost at http://techpost.manishsingh.in

I hope you will enjoy TechPost as much as I am loving developing it! See you there.

A brand new website

It has been years since I last blogged. Life has taken a lot of twists and turns and presented a lot of smiles along the way. Not forgotten completely, I always had a plan to return back to blogging but never got the time (or say I never made it). However, recently I decided to commit myself to blog, vlog and do more things which would help me in fulfilling my dreams. To start with, I will finally start developing my website. It has been 10 years since I first thought about it but now is the time to do it.

I have already started working on it and would launch by end November 2018. Apart from the site, I will be commiting myself to other writting activities which will include writing blogs on MPD.

MPD, is a personal blog where I will share my personal experiences I encounter. There is no fixed schedule, but will try to write a blog atleast once a month on MPD.

So, hope to you see you on MPD and other platforms soon.

Cheers!

I finally learn to say No and Bye!

It was into me for all these years to keep on saying yes out of no reason to everyone for anything they asked and expect people to stay in touch. This caused me enough damage. But with time, I made a simple observation. That was, with time, people and circumstances change. This was followed by another remarkable observation. It was that despite of the times and changes which come, some still make it a point to stay in touch and be there forever. They also keep themselves relatively simple and would value you as much they would anyone else. These two observations made me think deeply on certain things.

After lot of thinking and discussing things with a few select people, I decided to learn to say No and Bye. This was a major turning point in my life. It took me sometime to adopt it, but today I can proudly say that yes, I have learned on how to say these two words. This step has sort of brought a significant change in my surroundings.

As an experiment, I decided to try this in a limited zone. Suddenly, I noticed a change in people’s behavior. Anyhow, that was expected. The best part is, I was able to control things around me. 🙂 And now, I extend the same thing to every aspect of my life. It is such an amazing thing to make choices 🙂

The idea behind this is very simple, focus on myself and people who matter to me. Help the eco system grow and make the dreams once dreamt into a reality.

This does not mean that I am gonna ditch anybody. It simply means that I will be myself again, completely! :). If anybody wants to go,try to sort out things. But even if they want to go, let them go…do not force them to be with you and part them a nice good bye. If anybody want’s to use you for any reason and you know that it is wrong for you, simply say No :).

I drew the inspiration from one of my friend who once explained me to filter out people and simply focus on myself so that I achieve my goals. The right people would get associated automatically. This is a tribute to you my dear friend. Thanks for showing me the right path. No matter I am starting late, I plan to cover it up soon :). On top of this advice, there were numerous incidents happening in my life from 2004 to 2012 that supported me to take such a nice decision. 🙂

I know that saying No and bye is not that simple. I just wish that like all of my intentions, these two words just add to the benefit of what I do without hurting anyone’s genuine sentiments.

Naturally, my behavior is certainly not ruled by this thought only. Lot of things go into making any decision or response. This is just a refinement to a certain part of me that helps me in being more practical than before.

Here I come!

Hello MPD, I am back blogging after say 1.5 years or so….Well I am out of my bad times…. it took me 5 years to fall and recover. So, I am back with full force and energy but I realized on one thing and that is relationships are the ultimate thing on this planet. You can go on achieving tons and tons of accolades but what is the use if there are broken or no relationships in life? Meaning, one must be winning the highest honor in his/her environment but what will they do if there is no one to celebrate around?

Such a question, I asked to myself. I have grown big and have a wonderful family with me but something is missing. I need a life partner and few good friends around me. Thanks to my bad time, I could not make new connections because I was more into myself. I did establish a few things but if I see them right now, they seem to be insignificant. This thought crossed me on March 01 and I have “Deactivated” myself from leading into such a life. Ironically, I discovered that sometime back want to say “I Love You” to someone but since I went to Mumbai and came back, I found out that maybe I would have been wrong. People who are meant for you stay with you in your up’s and downs, the person who understand you in and out. Anyhow, now that I realize this it is good as I start afresh with a clean mind and soul.

Life is an amazing journey. And I think I have just started travelling it again. I would love to be in a relationship, but that is something your destiny decides more than you. Anyhow, I have decided that from now on whatever I feel for anyone, I will let them know at the earliest. Because you never know when this journey ends :). So let me start this Journey! 🙂
